Additional Property Attributes

The Property was primarily an undeveloped, grass-covered field with the northern and eastern portions wooded since the earliest available records. A shed was developed on the northwestern portion of the Property from at least 1937 until circa 1981. Areas of soil disturbance were apparent on the Property by the 1940s, and several areas resembled sports and recreation fields. The Property was used as a sports practice field until the 2010s. Areas of soil disturbance on the eastern portion of the Property corresponded with areas of soil piles and trash debris noted during reconnaissance activities.
The surrounding area was primarily residential since at least 1898. By the 1950s, several recreational fields were developed on the northern and southern adjoining sites, and several commercial developments appeared to the south along Wyoming Avenue.
