Additional Property Attributes

The property has been used for industrial purposes since 1953. A release of oils containing tetrochloroethylene was documented in the 1980s and resulted in groundwater contamination and potential impact to indoor air. USEPA funds were used to further investigate concerns related to soil contamination from an air compressor leak, possible PCBs in fill material, asbestos building materials and indoor air quality. Cleanup planning included design of a sub-slab depressurization system. Owner conducted cleanup of oil-saturated soils, removed asbestos-containing building materials and installed a sub-slab depressurization system to protect indoor air quality. Grounwater contamination presumably remains from the 1980s release but the State issued a No Further Action letter in 1999.
