Additional Property Attributes

The site has been leased to Entergy and its predecessors since 1946 as waterfront access to cool the power generating station located on the east side of Jourdan Road, but is underutilized. Prior to 2013, the site had been very overgrown and in 2013, Entergy cleared the site and demolished the dock.

Contamination is unknown at this site. Removal of Asbestos containing material and the demolition of the A.B. Paterson Chlorine building occurred in 2013.

Off-site concerns include UST facilities on adjoining properties, and a former steam electric power station on an adjoining property.
