Additional Property Attributes

The Property comprises one (1) rectangular-shaped parcel identified by the Pershing County Tax Assessor as Parcel ID 001-128-10, totaling 0.19 acres. The Property primarily consists of vacant commercial land. According to historical sources, the Property has been developed with two residential structures and a commercial hotel dating back to at least 1904 (first historical resource available). In the 1904 Fire Insurance Map, the Property contained the two small residential structures. In the 1907, 1914, 1923, and 1943 Fire Insurance Maps, the Property was labeled with a hotel. In 1952, the northern portion of the Property was depicted with an additional two (2) rooms for residential use. The Property was occupied by the Bernd Hotel from at least the 1900s to 1996 when the existing dilapidated hotel structures were razed. The Property has existed as vacant land from 1996 to present. The Property was sold to Pershing County due to tax delinquency from the previous owner in 1997 and Pershing County sold the Property to the City of Lovelock in 2004.
