Additional Property Attributes

The following conclusions were made based on the results of this Phase II ESA.
* The subsurface investigation was limited due to the presence of a potential cultural resource (shell
midden) encountered at 6 inches bgs in the first two test pits. The project archaeologist and PGST
agreed that the shell midden should not be disturbed.
* No drums or other debris were identified during the geophysical survey of the wetland on the
Property.
* Each of the RCRA 8 metals were identified in the soil samples collected from the Property, and the
reported concentrations of arsenic, chromium, and mercury exceed the Residential RSLs. However,
the reported concentrations of arsenic and chromium are less than the Puget Sound Region natural
background concentrations indicating their presence is likely attributable to naturally occurring
sources.
* The reported concentration of mercury slightly exceeds the Residential RSL. Because mercury is
common in fish and the amount of mercury biomagnifies as fish consume other fish, the source of the
mercury in soil just above the shell midden may be shellfish.
* The detected concentrations of PAHs and dioxins/furans, including their toxicity equivalency quotients
(calculated), do not exceed the Residential RSLs.
