Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Site (1001 Wheatland Avenue) operated historically as Danny's Phillips 66, a gas station and convenience mart. The facility was constructed in the late 1960's and operated from at least 1971 until approximately 2011. The property has been unoccupied since 2011.
As part of the Supplemental Phase II ESA and per the approved SAP, all USTs, piping, and dispensers were removed in December 2021 to obtain soil samples beneath and immediately adjacent to the USTs and equipment, per IDEM UST Branch closure guidance. No significant release was identified in the samples. No soils or other materials were removed, and the UST pit was backfilled with excavated soils and gravel. The property is now vacant as of September 2022.
