Additional Property Attributes

Standard and other historical sources document that the subject property was developed prior to 1937 with agricultural fields. Agricultural activities ceased between 1961 and 1963. Land clearing occurred and exposed soils were present throughout the property between 1963 and 1974, which appears to be associated with construction of the nearby highways and regional redevelopment activities. No evidence of filling and/or dumping was observed in aerial photographs. The property consisted of vacant land from 1963 until 1985, when the current building was constructed. The building was occupied by restaurants from 1985 until 2017, was vacant while undergoing renovation between 2017 and 2018, and has been occupied by New Seoul Plaza since 2018
