Additional Property Attributes

The Property is comprised of a 2.9 acre portion of a 6.6 acre parent parcel formerly operated as Lapeer Metal Stamping/Sebewaing Industries from at least 1949 until 2008. In August 2012, soil and groundwater samples were collected from the Property. Concentrations of VOCs, SVOCs, arsenic, mercury, and lead were measured in soil and groundwater at concentrations above Part 201 Generic Residential Cleanup Criteria. Concentrations of VOCs were also measured in soil gas samples. The Property is slated for redevelopment as a senior assisted living facility. The design of a vapor mitigation system is currently pending approval from the State, after which it will be included in the construction of the Property.
