Additional Property Attributes

The Property consisted of grass-covered land from as early as 1947 to 1975, when a commercial structure was developed on the north portion of the Property. The remainder of the Property consisted of a gravel lot and grass-covered land. By 1992, a garage was developed on the east portion of the structure and the Property was occupied by a heating and cooling company until 2017. In 2020, the Property was occupied by an automobile repair facility. At the time of the site reconnaissance, the automobile repair facility was no longer operational, and the structure was used for the storage of automobile repair equipment. The remainder of the Property consisted of paved parking lot, gravel, and grass-covered land.
Surrounding areas consisted primarily of residential development from as early as 1926. The Property was bordered by Woodward Avenue, North 27th Street, and Brown Street to the north, east, and south, respectively. In 1938, a gasoline filling station bordered the Property to the west and from 1960 to 1968, a laundromat was present on the east-adjoining site. From 2005 to the time of the site reconnaissance, the surrounding area consisted primarily of residential development with a church to the north, and a self-storage company to the east.
