Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of approximately 0.22 acres of land identified by the tax parcel ID: 68110-06-426972. Improvements include an irregular shaped 12,999 square-foot block and steel building constructed in the mid 1950s. The building has approximately 2,592 square-foot of second floor space, and a 1,688 square-foot canopy constructed in 1964. Exterior observations indicated the presence of at least a partial basement with access along the southwestern portion of the building. The outdoor areas of the parcel are asphalt or concrete paved with limited parking and greenspace. The Property is currently vacant with most doors and windows boarded for security.
The Property is bounded to the north by Church Street followed by a residential property; to the east and south by residential properties; and to the west by East Avenue followed by a parking lot. The Property land use category is residential.
Based on the available permit records and historical information sources, the Property has been developed with the current structure since the mid -1950s and the documented first use of the Property was as the Newark Medical Center. The city directory records further indicate that the Property was used for medical ventures until at least 1995. In addition, the Property housed attorney and counseling services between 1984 and 1992. The Property is currently vacant.
