Additional Property Attributes

The site was initially developed with one or more residential structures in the 1930s. The structures were demolished and replaced with the current commercial building in the 1960s. The site operated as a Circle K convenience store and gas station from 1973 to 2018. Following cessation of Circle K's operations, the site was purchased by the Town of Camp Verde.
Two 10,000 gallon gasoline USTs were utilized as part of the gas station operations. A 1995 suspected release case and 1996 LUST case were associated with the site. The record was closed when a tightness test for the UST system was passed. Limited information is available for the LUST record, which was closed in 1998. Soil investigations were conducted in the UST basin in 2004 and 2018. Slight GRO concentrations and total xylenes were detected in a sample from the southeast side of the UST basin, but below applicable ADEQ Tier 1 soil cleanup criteria. Both USTs were removed in 2018 and no other evidence of release was indicated in post-excavation soil samples. The UST closure was accepted as complete by ADEQ May 24, 2018. The former LUST record represents an HREC for the site.
