The current site use includes residential and commercial. There's a residence (northeast portion of site) and an equipment yard at the site is used by Brock Blevins for his construction company (western portion of site). A brick residential structure is located in the northeastern portion of the site. A wooden tire shed, metal storage shed, wooden shed containing a well, and metal canopy are located in the northeastern portion of the equipment yard, west of the residence. A metal storage shed is located in the western portion of the site. The eastern portion of the site south of the residence contained a vacant area used for parking, an asphalt paved area where a large trailer was parked, an area of soil and gravel piles, and driveways to the equipment yard. A septic tank and leach field was previously used for the residence, but was reported to be abandoned; the location was not known. The equipment yard contained dirt roads that loop through the site. Large amounts of materials were observed in the yard, including: heavy equipment, parts for equipment, other equipment, trucks, truck trailers, trailers for semi-tractors, vehicle tires, scrap metal, metal frames, rebar, wooden pallets, plastic septic tank, culverts, wood, telephone pole, cut vegetation, cable, pipes, fencing, paneling, foam, an old merry-go-ground, signs, concrete blocks, bricks, rock and soil piles, etc. Numerous aboveground storage tanks (ASTs), drums, and other containers were located on the site. None of the ASTs appeared to contain product other than residual liquids, if any. Most of the drums and other containers observed on the site were also empty, were generally not labeled unless they were newer containers, and did not have secondary containments. It appeared that only the ASTs south of the shed in the western portion of the site were used for fuel storage or fueling vehicles on site, and other ASTs were placed on trucks for use elsewhere. There were several locations where there were current or recent releases of oily liquids to the ground surface that were considered to be recognized environmental conditions.
