Additional Property Attributes

Property undeveloped prior to construction of school in 1939. Operated as school 1939-1966. Vacant after closure, then leased to Social Services & Headstart programs. Purchased in 1989 by W. Main Manufacturing. Vacant since at least 2010. Acquired by PRHA in 2019. Metal storage building constructed in 1990. Historically heated by coal.

Located adjacent to former Nanochemonics/Magnox facility. Located in 100-yr floodplain. ACM and LBP identified in the building through previous studies. Proposed redevelopment of school into Calfee Community & Cultural Center (CCCC). Town is planning to transfer ownership of the property.
