Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of two parcels identified by Grays Harbor County as parcel numbers 043002600501 (the eastern parcel; 316 West Young Street) and 043002600502 (the western parcel; 324 West Young Street), totaling 0.38 acres of land. The owner of both parcels is Debbie Rich Ministries Inc. The eastern parcel is improved with a single-story 6,012 square-foot building constructed in 1999 and used as a church by the Faith Life Northwest Church. The building contains 5,326 square-feet of finished space including a congregation area with entryway, offices, bathrooms and 686 square-feet of garage space with a roll-up door at the northwest exterior of the building. The western parcel is entirely paved with a concrete parking surface utilized by the church.
The Property is bounded to the north by an alley and beyond by residential property; to the east by residential property; to the south by West Young Street followed by commercial development; and to the west by North 4th Street and an American Legion Hall. The Property is zoned "C-1 - Community Business."
According to historical sources reviewed, the eastern parcel contained a residential dwelling between at least 1891 until 1998 when the structure was demolished, and the existing building was constructed. The first documented use of the western parcel was as a "hall" in 1891, followed by a carpenter shop and primary school through 1910. By 1914, the site was occupied by a mortuary through 1998 when the two-story 4,480 square-foot structure and attached garage were demolished and a parking lot was constructed. The site continued to be operated as a mortuary until 2015, when the business closed, and the Property was foreclosed on by the bank.
