Additional Property Attributes

The 10-acre subject property was agricultural or vacant land until 1971 when the building was constructed. The building was a warehouse for a paper company and for a short while, a window installation company, until Simpsons Enterprises began manufacturing cold- and hot-pressed sand molds for casting in the mid-1980s. Several additions were made during the time that Simpsons Enterprises operated. The original part of the building burned in May 2019. The burned portion of the building and a fire-damaged portion of the east-adjoining addition were removed in 2020. Clark Logistics has leased the remaining portion of the building for boat and RV storage since that time and recently purchased the property.
