Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of 0.34 acres of land, identified by Spokane County as parcel #35173.1208, developed with a 1-story, 12,150 square-foot, masonry building constructed in 1945. The remainder of the Property is paved with asphalt and shared with the west adjacent site (12 North. Grant Street). The Property has been vacant for about a year according to the Property's owner.
Based on the available permit records and historical information sources, the documented first use of the Property was a small residence fronting East. Sprague Avenue in 1891. By 1945, the small shop and structures and unnamed road/alley were removed, and the present-day building was constructed and first used for neon sign production. The building continued to be used for sign production until 1992, when it was purchased by the current owner and used for retail of janitorial supplies until 2010. According to the Property's owner, the building was then used for approximately 3 years for skating/roller derby. (Krunch Skate Shop appears on the 2017 city directory for the Property).) The Property was then used for marijuana production and processing by Belladonna Inc. from 2015 until early 2020.
