Additional Property Attributes

The vacant parcel at this location (between Carnegie and Cedar Avenues) has been in the hands of a dry-cleaning company since at least 1975. Aerial photos reveal that the land was cleared in 2015. Ph I findings: On-site: potential releases of dry-cleaning solvents and petroleum products from historic cleaning operations. Underground storage tanks (USTs) may remain. Off-site: potential contamination from hydraulically crossgradient intrusions of auto repair, carpet cleaning, machine shop and other manufacturing chemicals.Until further sampling is done, it cannot yet be determined if the soil on this vacant lot is affected.
Recommendations: Limited Ph II subsurface investigation to determine impact, if any, from on-site operations or neighboring properties. Limited ground penetrating radar (GPR) and electromagnetic (EM) survey to locate remaining USTs, if any.
