Additional Property Attributes

The Site is situated east of Main Street, which provides access to and from the Site. The Site is currently leased for warehousing and office space, and has been owned by its current owner for the past eight years. Formerly the Site was owned by Fostoria Industries from approximately 1917 to 2009. According to Sanborn Fire Insurance Rate Maps (Sanborn Maps), the Site was formerly known as the Fostoria Pressed Steel Corporation. In the map dated 1930 the property was used to manufacture automotive fenders, and in the maps dated 1949 and 1960 the facility was used to manufacture industrial lighting and infra-red units. City directories indicate the Site as Fostoria Corporation in 1964; Fostoria-Fannon Inc. in 1969; Fostoria Industries from 1974 through 2009; and Contico Manufacturing in 2018.
