Additional Property Attributes

The property is a former residential property located in the City of Everett. The property was historically developed with a multi-family residential building that was damaged by a fire in 2015. In 2017, the building was demolished and the building debris was removed from the property. The Community Revitalization Group arranged demolition and debris removal activities after being granted receivership of the property in a judgement in 2017. The City acquired the property via tax title taking in 2018. Currently, the property consists of vacant land in a residential area of Everett.

Current environmental conditions at the property are unknown; however, given the age of the former property building, there is potential for contamination associated with hazardous building materials. According to an old real estate listing for the property, it is believed the building the was previously heated with natural gas.

Presently, the City of Everett is proposing to redevelop the property for use as a pocket park. The redevelopment of the property will improve residential life in the surrounding area.
