Additional Property Attributes

The Property was agricultural land from at least 1937 to 1949 when the northern portion was developed with a drive-in movie theater. The drive-in movie theater operated at the Property from 1952 to circa 1987. The structure associated with the movie theater was demolished and the area was used to store mobile homes by 1997. A residential structure was present along the northern Property boundary from 1952 to 1976. The southern portion of the Property was developed in 1972 with an automotive dealership. From 1983 to 1987 the southern portion of the Property was utilized as a junkyard. After 1987, the junkyard debris was no longer present, and a system of dirt trails was noted. The automotive dealership structure was present on the east-central portion of the Property until at least 2006. By 2009 all the structures were removed from the Property and all that remained was grass covered land and two concrete pads on the east-central portion of the Property.
Surrounding area consisted primarily of agricultural and residential land until 1949. Commercial and industrial development began in the late 1940s. Several automotive repair shops, manufacturing facilities, and junkyards operated to the north, east and south of the Property from 1949 to present. Sites to the north and east were leaking underground storage tank (LUST) incidents and/or have known impact from former automotive repair operations.
