Additional Property Attributes

From at least 1884 to 1908, the majority of the Property was part of Budd Inlet. The area was subsequently filled in and developed with various commercial uses over time. The nature of the material deposited during the multiple filling events is unknown. The most significant historical commercial uses of the Property included automotive repair businesses and a curtain/drapery store (potential dry cleaning activities) on the northwestern portion of the Property; a creamery (potential fueling and/or boiler heating oil use), a printing company, fuel oil business, auto repair and a custom tailor (potential dry cleaning activities) on the northeastern portion of the Property; an auto parts cleaning business on the west-central portion of the Property; and a wood-floored machinery and junk storage facility on the southern non-contiguous parcel.

The anticipated future use of the Property will be used for mixed commercial and residential use. The prospective purchaser plans to redevelop the northwest portion, leaving the eastern portion (including the northeastern building) and the southern parking area as-is.
