Additional Property Attributes

This property has a small commercial building, historically used for a restaurant, dry cleaner, and a home appliance store. The building is in poor condition, and the non-profit Neighborhood Development Corporation (NDC) sought to purchase the property and demolish and redevelop the site for neighborhood investment and improvement. Iowa DNR assisted NDC with a pre-acquisition all appropriate inquiry through a Phase I ESA: however, the owner changed direction, and NDC did not move forward with any purchase, and therefore, no further environmental assessment, cleanup, or redevelopment.
