Additional Property Attributes

The Property is an approximate 44-acre industrial maritime railyard comprised of rail lines and wooded undeveloped land, as well as a gravel access road along the northern Property boundary. Available historical information indicates that the Property was undeveloped marshland until approximately 1965, when a railway was developed from the southwestern corner to the northwestern corner. An additional railroad track was developed along the northwestern Property boundary around 1975, as well as Terminal Road and a gravel access road along the northern Property boundary. Site was acquired by the Port of New Orleans in 1978.
