Additional Property Attributes

Standard and other historical sources were able to document a former school building was present in the central portion of the property in a least 1926. Records documents the northern portion of the west adjoining property was mined for sand and gravel which likely extended to the subject property between at least 1937 and 1940. The original school building was demolished by 1927, when a majority of the current building was constructed. An addition was constructed to the northern portion in 1939 and to the southwestern portion between 1940 and 1943. The southwestern addition was occupied by a school bus garage in at least 1943. PM was unable to confirm how long the bus garage was used, but may have operated until the addition was demolished between 1972 and 1976. A cell tower antenna and associated equipment storage were constructed on the property in 2000 and antenna replacements between 2012 and 2015. The subject building was occupied by schools, educations programs, girls and boys club and/or offices from at least 1926 until approximately 2008 and has been unoccupied since at least 2008.

The Developer intends to convert the existing building to 30 loft apartments with a secondary building consisting of another 60 units.
