Property Highlights

The Site is predominantly vacant with the exception of a warehouse building located on the northernmost portion of the Site. However, the Site consisted of multiple adjoining buildings prior to 2020 according to both aerial photographs and Google Maps. According to information contained within a Phase I ESA prepared for the site by August Mack Environmental in July/August 2021, the Site was most recently used by Vivolac Cultures Corporation, a starter culture laboratory for food products. According to historical Sanborn maps dating back to 1915, multiple residential structures as well as a structure labeled as a blacksmith formerly existed at the Site. Aerial photographs depict the residential structures being razed and replaced with multiple commercial buildings by at least 1936. Other occupants of the Site include a restaurant, a store, and a chemical lab, with a warehouse and several outbuildings by 1950. Based upon City directories, automotive businesses, a service station, dry cleaners, and laboratories previously occupied the Site between 1925 and 2017.
