Additional Property Attributes

This property is the location of the Jackson County Regional Hospital Center (JCRHC). The hospital at this location was first constructed in 1949, with multiple additions through 2004; however, many of the hospital's facilities were antiquated and did not meet 21st century needs for health clinic services, or in-patient and out-patient medical procedures. In 2016 the JCRHC Board elected to construct a new hospital/clinic on the other side of the City, and with that new hospital completed and open March of 2021, the health services at the old hospital ceased, and JCRHC sold the property to a private developer in March of 2022 for future redevelopment.
