Additional Property Attributes

The property was originally developed as part of Camp Shenango and then subsequently used for a variety of commercial and light industrial uses.. A Phase I ESA of the subject site was conducted in July, 2021 by the Insite Group, Inc., which identified multiple contaminated sites upgradient from this property. A chlorinated solvent plume has been documented upgradient from this Site. The property is currently vacant and unused. The work under the Phase II ESA was conducted to determine if hazardous materials have migrated from adjacent properties with documented environmental contaminants. The estimated cost for the Phase II ESA, including the development of a Sampling and Analysis Plan is estimated at approximately $20,000.

Detected constituents in groundwater and indoor air were below the applicable MSCs and screening values. Therefore, it does not appear that contamination extends onto the Site from the multiple upgradient contaminated properties referenced in a 2021 Phase I ESA, including the Salem Tube site. If the chlorinate solvent plume did extend off Site onto the subject property, this would have been observed in the groundwater and indoor air concentrations.
