Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of one parcel identified by Grays Harbor County as parcel number 051805001500, totaling 0.48 acres of land. The owner of the parcel is the City of Hoquiam. The parcel is entirely paved with an asphalt parking surface utilized by the public. The Property is bounded to the north by Harbors Home Health and Hospice; to the east by US Bank; to the south by commercial store fronts; and to the west by Emerson Manor. The Property is zoned "46 - Transportation - Auto Parking".
According to historical sources reviewed, the Property contained a large hotel between at least 1916 until 1969, when the structure was demolished. The first documented uses of the Property were a paint store, a furniture store, and a dwelling in 1902, followed by a print, paper, and art supply store in 1907. By 1916, the Property was occupied by a hotel through 1928 when the hotel was divided into several commercial stores through at least 1969. The Property continued to contain a large structure until 2006 when the Property was redeveloped into a paved parking lot.
