Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment (Phase I ESA) was completed of the property located along 164 Court Avenue, Weston, Lewis County, West Virginia. The subject property
consists of one parcel totaling 0.11 acres of land along the east side of Court Avenue and identified in West Virginia tax records as parcel 21-07-0009-0366-0000. The subject property was originally a catholic church
and later became a civic hall known as the Columbia Club. The building on the subject property is vacant and dilapidated. The City of Weston intends to acquire the property for redevelopment into a community center
once again.

Currently, a single two-story, 2,300 square foot building remains on the property. The subject property is situated at the eastern terminus of Second Street on Court Street in downtown Weston. All adjacent
properties are for commercial or residential use.

Based on the scope of services, limitations, and findings of this assessment, DS did not identify any RECs, CRECs, HRECs, or VECs for the Columbia Club property.
Non-scope items are to be considered for this property due to age and future planned use. Asbestos and lead-based paint inspections were completed in February 2022. Through the supplementary assessment, asbestos-containing building materials and lead-based paint were confirmed in the subject property and will require clean up before redevelopment.
