Based on the identified constituents of concern in soil, and potential vapor intrusion from Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) in soil at the property, a vapor barrier (VB) and passive sub-slab
venting (SSV) system was recommended. A combined VB and passive SSV system (VB/SSV) is proposed for the new subject property building, to prevent VI into the new/proposed buildings (Building 1, Building 2 and Building 3). The SSV systems will be assisted by wind turbines. Details of the VB/SSV systems are specified within the Design and Specification Plan.
