Additional Property Attributes

This site is owned by the Town of Paonia and was formerly developed with the town's wastewater treatment lagoons. From 2008 to 2011 the lagoons were decommissioned, including sampling residual biosolids for metals, stabilizing biosolids with lime to remove excess moisture, and backfilling the lagoons with earthen material. Since decommissioning, the property has remained vacant, vegetated land. The Town has no plans to sell the parcel currently but is looking at partnering with a local developer to develop the site as affordable housing in the near future.
