Additional Property Attributes

Historical review indicates the site was occupied by the Kentland Dairy and Cheese Factory from 1933 until 1968. The history of the site from the late 1960s to the early 1990s is unknown. In 1995, the current owner, Stephen Griner, acquired the property and operated Griner Engineering Warehouse. Mr. Griner reportedly manufactured and warehoused high-performance transmissions for the auto-racing industry; however, according to Mr. Griner's Power of Attorney, the building was only used for storing vehicles. Potential environmental concerns associated with the site history include possible fueling or servicing of delivery trucks at the dairy and cheese facility; the unknown site usage from the late 1960s until the early 1990s may have included using hazardous substances or petroleum products; and hazardous substances or petroleum products may have been stored or used at Griner Engineering Warehouse
