Additional Property Attributes

The property was historically developed as a rail corridor operated by the New York-New Haven Railroad and the Providence-Worcester Railroad. The Town of Southbridge is considering entering into a long-term lease agreement with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to redevelop and operate a recreational bicycle-pedestrian trail on the segment extending from downtown Southbridge to the Dudley town line.
