Additional Property Attributes

The property is currently not in use. The property is approximately 7.3 acres in size and rectangular in shape. There are no building structures at the property. A former sewer lagoon is located on the eastern portion of the property. The lagoon is approximately 3.4 acres (149,309 square feet) in size. Other than the lagoon, the property is wooded.

Historical documents indicate the property was not developed prior to being used as a sewer system for the residential neighborhood to the north. Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) and historical documents indicate the property was developed with a sewer lagoon used in a residential waste disposal system between the years 1960 and 1971. The lagoon was used until it was deactivated in 1996. The water in the lagoon currently appears clear with no sheens, but a shallow layer of algae is present along the edges and center. A letter dated in the year 2005, indicates the lagoon has not been drained since the deactivation in 1996. PPM recommends that the water be drained and disposed of properly prior to any future development.

This assessment has revealed no evidence of RECs in connection with the property.
