Additional Property Attributes

Based on a review of historical information the site consisted of vacant and wooded land with some visible trails on the northern portion of the site and an apparent small structure on the southern portion of the site associated with off-site structures to the southwest from at least 1942 until 1950. By 1968, Jacksboro Highway was widened and the structure on the southern portion of the site and off-site were removed during the expansion. By 1973, an apparent unimproved road was developed on-site that traversed from the southern portion of the site through the northern portion of the site, and several very small structures were developed on the very southern portion of the site. By 1990, the structures on the southern portion of the site were removed and the site consisted of vacant land with some apparent dumping on the central portion of the site. By 1995, the western portion of the site has been graded along the on-site dirt road, and in the late 1990s or early 2000s, a mobile home sales facility operated on the site and the adjoining property to the west. It appears that the mobile home sales operations ceased by 2008 and two apparent soil excavations areas were visible on-site, with one large area on the western portion of the 8900 Jacksboro Highway site and the other on the western portion of the 9114 Nine Mile Bridge Road site. From 2008 until present, the site has remained vacant land with the exception of remnants of the former mobile home sales operations, and significant dumping of soil, concrete, rock, gravel, and debris on-site. Based on the unknown source(s) of the soil piles, the soils piles constitute a recognized environmental condition (REC) to the site at this time. Terracon performed a Limited Site Investigation and Chemicals of Concern were not identified in the soil piles above regulatory standards for the future use of the property.
