Additional Property Attributes

The Property is located at 714 NW A Street (Tax lot 7600) in Grants Pass, Josephine County, Oregon (Map ID 3605W18AB, Township 36 South, Range 5 West, Section 18 AA); and, is referred to as the A Street Building Property (Property). The property is approximately 1.53 acres in size. The A Street Building, built in the early 1900s, operated on the Property initially as a hospital until the 1963 construction of the former Dimmick Building (which was demolished in 2014) and then after with various County Health Services. The Building has been vacant since 2006. Hazardous building materials (HBMs), specifically asbestos-containing materials (ACMs), lead-based paint (LBP), polychlorinated biphenyl (PCB), and mercury-containing material have been identified in building materials in the Building and associated underground utility tunnel. Water damage and moisture intrusion is also evident in several areas throughout the Building. There is an increasing risk of structural failure and mold growth as water intrusion continues. Required removal actions include removal and proper disposal of ACM hazardous building components and materials.
