Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of a two-story former retail building and a single-story residential unit built in circa 1910 and a total of 13,355 square feet (sf). The buildings consist of concrete block construction with asphaltic roof material with various sealants. The roof was observed to be significantly damaged with several large holes where the interior areas of the building were exposed to the environment. Approximately 30 percent (%) of the floors were covered by vinyl floor tiles (VFT), 30% were carpet, and 40% were wood. Approximately 50% of the ceiling was covered with decorative metal panels, 30% were gypsum board and joint compound, and 20% were covered by acoustic ceiling tiles (ACT). Approximately 80% of the interior walls were covered by plaster and 20% were gypsum board and joint compound. The entire second floor had wood floors and an exposed wood beam ceiling. ACMs were identified at the Property during the RBM survey. For the purpose of this report, materials with any detectable concentration of asbestos are considered positive. These materials included the following: * Joint Compound associated with Closets in Building 1107 * White 12"x12" VFT associated with front portion of Building 1107 * Black mastic associated with white VFT associated with front portion of Building 1107 * Beige 9"x9" VFT in back storage of Building 1101 * Black mastic associated with beige VFT in back storage of Building 1101 * Mastic Associated with blue VFT in the restroom of Building 1101 * Blue 9"x9" VFT in the residential unit of the 518 11th Street Building Based on the findings of this survey, two of the five paint samples contain concentrations of lead above the laboratory reporting limit. The white paint on the second-story stairway of Building 1105 (P-2) had a detection of 0.56% lead by weight. The white/green paint associated with the decorative metal panels in Building 1101 (P-3) had a detection of 7.4%. These concentrations are greater than one milligram per square centimeter (1.0 mg/cm2) or half of one percent (0.5% by weight), which is the definition of LBP.
