Additional Property Attributes

The Property consists of 0.23 acres of vacant, gravel covered land with asphalt pavement in the northern portion. Surrounding areas consisted primarily of residential and commercial development since at least the 1930s. The Property was bordered by South Squirrel Road and Primary Street to the west and south, respectively. In 1972, the south-adjoining site, beyond Primary Street, was occupied by a dry cleaner, a marine systems manufacturer and gasoline service station were present to the west and north, beyond South Squirrel Road, and commercial development was present north and east of the Property. By the early 2000s, an automobile repair facility was present on the west-adjoining site, beyond South Squirrel Road, and a printing operation was present south of the Property. At the time of the site reconnaissance, the surrounding area consisted of an apartment structure, architect firm, dentist office, and restaurant to the north, paved parking lot to the east, a real estate office and smog inspection company to the south, and a plumbing parts manufacturer and chiropractor to the west.
