Additional Property Attributes

The Property is currently owned by Cabin Fever Entertainment LLC, who uses the onsite building as a bar and grill and has a mobile home onsite that is used as a residence. Additional areas of the Property include the following: a concrete pad associated with a former motel located in the northeastern portion of the Property, an active septic system that serves the bar and mobile home, and a pole-mounted commercial sign located on the northwestern border of the Property. The remaining portions of the property consist of local trees and shrub land, and covered asphalt paving. * The off-site property known as the Anaconda Copper Mine was identified under EPA's proposed National Priorities List (NPL) database in December 2016. The abandoned mine site is a source of potential contamination to the Property through the following media. Drinking water from wells near the site were found to contain arsenic and uranium concentrations above the EPA's Safe Drinking Water Act MCLs (Maximum Contaminant Levels). During periods of moderate and high wind conditions, dust debris from evaporation ponds and on-site tailings can affect the Property. Recommendations include monitoring and sampling of groundwater and potential media affected by the dust debris to evaluate if the Property is affected by the off-site abandoned mine.
