Additional Property Attributes

The subject property is currently not in use. The subject property is approximately 5.4 acres in size. There are no buildings currently on the subject property. The subject property is covered in overgrown vegetation with dense vegetation on the eastern portion. There is a concrete slab, approximately 16,600 square feet in size, that is surrounded by gravel in the southwestern portion of the subject property. The topography at the subject property is higher in elevation on the eastern portion of the subject property. No evidence of RECs in connection with the subject property.

The City of Vicksburg intends to acquire the property and plans to develop it into a Riverfront Park site to support the downtown Vicksburg redevelopment plans. The due diligence is necessary for bona fide prospective purchaser designation and as part of a National Park Service grant for conversion of land under the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act.
