Additional Property Attributes

"The Subject Property is currently sitting vacant. The gasoline station is currently unoccupied and is
currently boarded up to restrict access. During the site reconnaissance, access to the outside of the
building and the rest of property was observed, however access to the inside of the building was
restricted. Tetra Tech was able to observe the inside of the one room storefront through the glass door and There is no physical evidence of USTs, piping, or dispensers. Otter does not have a listing for the property although it definitely was a gas station. According to the Scioto County Auditor page, the gasoline station building was constructed in 1949. It is listed as a retail automotive service center."
Phase 2 found VOCs, TPH, and PAHs in soil samples, and BOCs and PAHs in groundwater samples above BUSTR closure levels. No tanks were positively confirmed to remain, but additional investigation was recommended. The owner intends to pursue the Abandoned Gas Station Program.
