Additional Property Attributes

The Subject Property is currently undeveloped with no structures. Land use at the Subject Property has been confirmed by historical resources back to 1937, when the Subject Property appears to have been partially developed for agricultural use and/or rural residential properties. The Subject Property was developed as an auto salvage yard from 1965 through 2005. The property has been vacant and undeveloped since approximately 2006.The Lenoir County Tax Administration lists the current owner of the Subject Property as Kearney Webster Harper, Jr. The Deed of Conservation Easement, dated November 10, 2004, lists Kearney Webster Harper, Jr. as the Grantor and The City of Kinston as the Grantee. The Deed of Conservation Easement agreement stipulates that the owner, Kearney Webster Harper, Jr, relinquished their rights to entry and restricted use of the property. The City of Kinston would like to redevelop the site as a driving range.
