Additional Property Attributes

The site is a former railroad property adjacent to an existing railroad corridor. The railroad corridor has existed since the late 1800s. The property was used for coal and lumber storage in the 1960s. An elevator was utilized on the site in the 1980s and 1990s. One round structure is identified on 1922, 1931 and 1949 Sanborn maps. The property is currently vacant.

Monroe County acquired the property on 9/22/2016.
