Additional Property Attributes

A Phase I ESA completed in July 2022 revealed RECs associated with the subject property due to its historical use as a retail gas and service station (first half of 1900s). No agency documentation was found that indicated the associated USTs were removed or assessed. The facility was used as an auto body repair operations from the 1960s to very recently. An adjacent property to the east also historically contained a gas tank with no associated regulatory data (not used after 1940). The on-site and off-site concerns offer the potential for both petroleum and hazardous materials impacts.
A Phase II ESA completed in November 2022 revealed no significant impacts (no exceedances of the commercial-industrial target levels). A UST removal took place in July-August 2023. Closure assessment activities revealed no impacts in excess of State cleanup target levels in the vicinity of the former 500-gallon tank.
