Addl Cleanup/Treatment info: This site was cleaned up in DEQ's Voluntary Cleanup Program. The contaminated soil and groundwater was cleaned up from 1994-2022 with soil vapor extraction and pump and treat. These two remedies removed contamination above regulatory standards for drinking water. However, 1-1-DCE and TCE remain slightly above the MCL.

Additional Property Attributes

This property was formerly the Imation facility. It is now owned by a local church called Liberty Church. DEQ was asked to perform a phase II on the property to determine if groundwater contamination from an adjacent property had migrated onto the property. No contamination was found on the property; therefore, no groundwater contamination has migrated onsite from the adjacent property. Any potential future plans are unknown at the time. Imation cleaned up contaminated soil and groundwater from 1994 to 2022 through DEQ's VCP Program.
