Additional Property Attributes

The Baatz Building historically contained a 40-room hotel on the upper two floors in Downtown Great Falls. Today, the building
stands vacant, boarded up and a problem property for the community. The location of the Baatz Building and proximity to the City-
County Health Department, Bus Station and many other services make it an ideal location for this type of project. The vision for this
underutilized building is 25 permanent supportive homes. Permanent supportive housing combines affordable housing assistance
with voluntary support services to address the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. The services are designed to build
independent living and tenancy skills and connect people with community-based health care treatment and employment
services. Great Falls health care providers will provide on-site services tailored to the residents' individual needs. Housing and
Downtown Revitalization are two high mission priorities of GFDA and the way that Permanent Supportive Housing is designed is that
it provides solutions to helping those faced with chronic homelessness.
