Additional Property Attributes

The property is currently developed with a metal warehouse. Historically, it has been occupied by trucking/freight businesses, a bulk oil storage facility and/or gas station, an auto body & paint shop, an engine repair shop, a lawn care business, and most recently an auction house.

The Phase I ESA revealed 5 RECs: (1) historical automotive-related businesses operating at the property; (2) a former gas station and/or bulk oil storage facility that was once part of the property; (3-4) adjoining former gas stations that existed prior to regulations; and (4) an abandoned UST discovered on-site in 2006 and filled in place, along with automotive batteries uncovered in 2006 and possibly left in place. The Asbestos & Lead-Based Paint surveys both had several positive samples.

A Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey was conducted to find the potential locations of the former tank(s), piping, and automotive batteries. Several possible USTs and other buried materials were found. Further assessment is necessary to determine the condition of the property.

The site was withdrawn from the Arkansas Brownfield Program in October 2022. Future planned uses are currently unknown.
