Additional Property Attributes

The 9.84-acre subject property is currently vacant but was formerly operated by Bailey Lumber & Supply and is still owned by Bailey Lumber & Supply. An approximately 100,000-square-foot (SF) warehouse building is located on the southern portion of the subject property. An approximately 2,000-SF metal building with bay doors is located on the southeastern corner of the subject property. An approximately 46,000-SF metal canopy is located on the eastern portion of the subject property. An approximately 4,500-SF wooden framed structure with metal roof is located on the northern portion of the subject property.

This assessment has revealed no evidence of recognized environmental concerns (REC), controlled recognized environmental conditions (CREC), and/or significant data gaps (SDG) in connection with the subject property.

In December, 2022, Mississippi Tire Recyclers, Inc. purchased the property and intends to convert the property into the largest waste tire processing operation in central Mississippi with the assistance of a $1M+ grant from the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ).
