The following information is current as of 2023-2-6 submitted by Hieu Vu, contractor for the City of Springfield: The subject property, which encompasses 2.57 acres, includes a four-story brick building and two connected one-story buildings that were used as the former Doling Elementary School. The main building is planned to be redeveloped as artists' studios, offices, and workspaces for individuals and/or organizations. Plans for the two one-story buildings have not been determined. The redevelopment cost is estimated $3 million dollars. To date, no redevelopment has been conducted. The property is still for sale. (End 2023-2-6 entry.)
