Additional Property Attributes

Standard and other historical resources were able to document the subject property was developed prior to 1910 for residential purposes. The dwellings in the northeastern and southeastern portions were demolished in the 1920s and the original southeastern portion of the current building was constructed in 1927/1928. Three remaining dwellings in the northern and eastern portions were utilized for commercial purposes in at least the 1930s and 1940s, including a catering company, a cabinet maker, and professional offices. These dwellings were demolished between the 1930s and 1970s. The current building was expanded in 1989/1990 to form the current layout, and the current storage shed was constructed west of the building between 1997 and 2005. The building has been utilized for community center activities since initial instruction, including banquets, event hosting, and food preparation, as well as an early childhood care center since 1990.

The Developer intends to construct a 4-story addition on to the building, adding approximately 40,000 square feet. The building will feature an active rooftop.
